I’m interested in:

• Early to mid-stage startups.
• Backend-focused work, but I can do full stack.
• Web apps, APIs, performance optimisation and data pipelines.
• Working remotely within Australian and Asian time zones at present.

My recent experience is Ruby on Rails, mostly in fintech and marketplaces. I’m open to other stacks, including Elixir and Rust, if the mission is right.

I’ve been using AI tools to explore code, work through problems and build software. I’m also interested in teams building with AI, especially where it can solve problems for the people using the product.

About me: I’m a software engineer with over 15 years’ experience helping startups succeed. I’m especially good at untangling complex problems and streamlining processes.

Finding a great team is important to me. I’ve found the best way to make that happen is to meet folks and see what clicks.
